Very pertinent information to the spiritual seeker or adept.
Why 9? Nine is a very special number. The root number of 9*N where N is any integer is 9. Lots of information available on the web there... so it's not a surprise that it would be the 2nd doctrine.
I myself have very much struggled with doctrine 1. It took me some time of great personal effort and stress to realize that one cannot see beyond their limits. and that limits exist as self protection for the individual. Those boundaries must be respected for it can do severe harm if one is made to see what one is not ready or willing to see.
